Hello Everyone!

Captain Shel will be posting daily photos from his latest sailing classes. He’s currently instructing Blue Water Sailing School (BWSS) classes that last 6 days each and are located on beautiful Narragansett Bay in Rhode Island. This should be lots of fun for everyone onboard and a great way to include those friends and family staying home.

All photos below are low resolution and would offer only low quality prints. You may order high quality prints of these photos from our Snapfish account which is password protected, see link at left. Once at Snapfish, just click on the photo album with the date of your class (first day class starts). Students will receive the password on or before the start of class.

Best wishes for a fun learning experience,
Captain Shel

Please note: No class scheduled for 8/01/09. Next class starts 8/08/09, see you then!

Later, we come across a beautiful former America’s Cup 12 meter racing boat.

Late afternoon we pick up a mooring in Potter Cove on Prudence Island. No sooner are we secured to the mooring pendant and then notice an elderly man has fallen overboard on another boat that was trying to pick up another mooring. Tod & Zach take our dinghy and go to the rescue. Someone calls the Coast Guard and they arrive within minutes. About an hour later all is well and the individual is recovering from his traumatic experience.
